    CacheSelectionRendering Property
    In This Topic
    Whether or not to cache the internal image map created by the panel.
    Syntax
    'Declaration

    <System.ComponentModel.CategoryAttribute("General")>
    <System.ComponentModel.DescriptionAttribute("Whether or not to cache the internal image map created by the control.")>
    <System.ComponentModel.DefaultValueAttribute(True)>
    <System.Xml.Serialization.XmlAttributeAttribute()>
    Public Property CacheSelectionRendering As System.Boolean
    'Usage

    Dim instance As NImageMapDockPanel
    Dim value As System.Boolean

    instance.CacheSelectionRendering = value

    value = instance.CacheSelectionRendering
    [System.ComponentModel.Category("General")]
    [System.ComponentModel.Description("Whether or not to cache the internal image map created by the control.")]
    [System.ComponentModel.DefaultValue(true)]
    [System.Xml.Serialization.XmlAttribute()]
    public System.bool CacheSelectionRendering {get; set;}
    Remarks
    When you use an interactivity operations like tooltips, events and cursors the control internally performs a render to determine the chart object under the mouse cursor. This render is cached for reuse by default, which greatly improves the speed of subsequent interactivity requests. The generated image map is automatically updated when you refresh the chart or drag it with the trackball. You may wish to turn off this cache to reduce the memory footprint of the control.
    Example
    The following code disables the selection cache:
    somePanel.CacheSelectionRendering = False
    somePanel.CacheSelectionRendering = false;
